What this career quiz actually measures
Most free career quizzes sort you into a personality bucket and stop there. That is fun, but it rarely tells you what to do on Monday. MyPassionJob takes a different angle: instead of guessing who you are, it measures how well the work you already do (or are considering) lines up with what makes work fulfilling.
You rate seven research-backed dimensions of job satisfaction, and the quiz turns them into a single Passion Job Score from 1.0 to 5.0 — plus an archetype and a short action plan. It takes about three minutes and needs no account.
The 7 dimensions you are scored on
- •Product: do you believe in what your company makes or does?
- •Role: does your day-to-day work fit your strengths?
- •People: is the team culture one you want to be part of?
- •Valued: are you recognized and paid fairly?
- •Future: does the company's direction match where you want to go?
- •Growth: are you learning and developing?
- •Balance: is the workload sustainable?
What your score tells you
A high score across all seven dimensions is the rare "dream job" pattern. More often, a couple of dimensions drag the rest down — and that is the useful part: the quiz shows you exactly which ones. Low on Growth but high on everything else? That is a very different problem (and fix) than low on People or Valued.
Because the score is dimension-by-dimension, it works whether you are deciding to stay and improve your current role, or weighing a new one. Score your current job, then score the job you are considering, and compare.
